Osteopathy

Untitled (1500 x 1000 px).gif

Osteopathy is an integrated healthcare approach that works to realign your body, allowing it to optimise its core functions. This medicinal discipline is founded on the idea that the wellbeing of a person is intrinsically linked to their skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues being able to work together in harmony. Through physical manipulation, stretching, and massaging of the muscles and joints, osteopathy is a treatment process that is tailored to your unique needs. In addition to the treatment, your osteopath will also provide you with self-management advice and therapeutic exercises that you can do at home to manage your symptoms. Most commonly used to treat back pain, osteopathy can alleviate persisting symptoms that arise from a wide range of conditions. These include joint pain, circulatory issues, sleep related problems, neuromuscular conditions, headaches and more. Osteopathy is the perfect treatment for patients such as athletes, manual labourers, office workers, pregnant women, children, or those who experience ongoing pain or stiffness. Cranial Osteopathy

Untitled (1500 x 1000 px)-2.gif

Similar to osteopathy in ensuring that the whole body works cohesively, cranial osteopathy is a more subtle and gentle treatment that focuses on the entire body, including the abdomen and the head. This treatment is based on the concept that the bones and tissues of the skull can be manipulated to improve a variety of symptoms and health conditions, and to facilitate the release of stress and tension from the body. The treatment involves your osteopath running their acutely trained hands over the body, picking up on any minute rhythmic movements throughout the body, areas of strain, tension or past trauma. Once the area of concern has been identified, the treatment focuses on the gentle mobilisation of the neck and cranium, a practice which relieves tension from the affected areas. Due to its intrinsically delicate touch, cranial osteopathy has been proven to bring tangible benefits to people across all age groups, in particular children, pregnant women, the elderly and those with recent injury or trauma. Postural Correction

Untitled (1500 x 1000 px)-6.gif

When held in a static position, such as sitting, the human body requires nearly half of its muscles to maintain this static contraction. If you spend the majority of your day sitting at a desk in the incorrect position, you’re more likely to generate muscle imbalance, placing greater amounts of pressure on the disks of your neck and back, and reducing the mobility of your spine. This imbalance can manifest in neck and shoulder pain, tension headaches, repetitive strain injuries in the hands or wrists. Postural correction treatment focuses on areas of tension, stiffness or muscle imbalance, and includes an examination of your spine and pelvis alignment, ascertaining any instability or asymmetry. From this initial assessment, a customised treatment plan is created to suit your unique needs and habits. You’ll also be equipped with a series of home exercises that work to improve your awareness of your posture and correct these imbalances in the long term. FEES 1st Visit 1 hour £90 Follow-up 45 mins £75 Follow-up 30 mins £55 Package of 5 x 60 mins (10% off) £380 Package of 5 x 45 mins (10% off) £315

Aromatherapy
Massage

Untitled (1500 x 1000 px).gif

Aromatherapy massage is a type of massage that incorporates the use of essential oils to enhance the overall massage experience. During an aromatherapy massage, a therapist will use a combination of massage techniques along with the use of specific essential oils to promote relaxation, ease tension, and improve the overall well-being of the recipient. These essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts that are known for their therapeutic properties, and they can be used to address a range of physical and emotional concerns. During the massage, the therapist will apply a blend of essential oils to the skin using gentle, flowing strokes. As the recipient breathes in the aroma of the essential oils, the therapeutic properties of the oils are absorbed through the skin and the respiratory system, promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being. Overall, aromatherapy massage is a highly relaxing and therapeutic experience that can help to reduce stress, ease tension, and promote overall well-being. FEES 30 minutes £50 45 minutes £65 60 minutes £80 90 minutes £115 Package of 5 x 60 mins (10% off) £335 Package of 5 x 45 mins (10% off) £290

Lymphatic
Drainage

Untitled (1500 x 1000 px)-3.gif

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a specialized massage technique that is designed to improve the function of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is a network of vessels and organs that is responsible for removing waste products, toxins, and excess fluid from the body. During MLD, the therapist uses gentle, rhythmic strokes to stimulate the movement of lymphatic fluid through the lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes. The strokes are designed to move the lymphatic fluid in the direction of the lymph nodes, where it can be filtered and cleaned before being returned to the circulatory system. MLD is typically performed by a trained therapist who has undergone specialized training in this technique. The therapist will begin by assessing the patient's condition and developing a treatment plan that is tailored to their individual needs. FEES 30 minutes £50 45 minutes £65 60 minutes £80 90 minutes £115 Package of 5 x 60 mins (10% off) £335 Package of 5 x 45 mins (10% off) £290

Dry Cupping

Untitled (1500 x 1000 px)-5.gif

Cupping is a traditional therapy that involves placing glass or plastic cups on the skin and creating a vacuum by suctioning out the air. The suction pulls the skin and underlying tissues into the cup, which is thought to stimulate blood flow and promote healing. Dry cupping involves placing the cups on the skin and leaving them in place for a period of time, typically between 5 and 15 minutes. Cupping has been used for centuries in traditional medicine systems, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, to treat a variety of conditions, including pain, inflammation, and respiratory problems. It is also sometimes used as a form of complementary therapy for conditions such as asthma, high blood pressure, and migraines. While cupping is generally considered safe, it can cause temporary bruising and skin irritation. It is important to work with a trained and experienced practitioner who can ensure that the technique is used safely and effectively. FEES 30 minutes £30 45 minutes £45

It’s hard to find a high quality therapist that you can trust in London. Edoardo is a fantastic professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. The results are visible straight away. Highly recommend Edoardo and State of Change Clinic. Great great osteopath

Great skills, amazing communication and outstanding aftercare program. Edoardo fixed my lower back in no time. Thanks

I went to see Edoardo for a severe lower back and neck pain and I have to admit he is a great osteopath. extremely skilled and knowledgeable. My pain is gone and I learned so much about how to prevent this from happening again

Edoardo is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I always leave feeling any issues have been targeted and addressed.

My experience with Ediardo was very comfortable. He was both very plesent and informative about what we would be doing. A very calming presence and easy to communicate with. Always checking in during the session. Could not recommend more highly

Edoardo is friendly and thorough with his approach. He’s flexible with alternatives as well (such as not doing acupuncture if you don’t want) and explains how there’s many different options instead. Edoardo will give you an explanation as to what he’s going to do during the appointment and afterwards gives an overall of what he has done and why. Also, will send information on relevant stretches to do via email to maintain your skeletal health He’s helped me a lot and I appreciate his work and efforts! Thanks!

excellent physio. explains everything and seems to be fixing the problem. works you hard and it pays off. highly recommend

After visiting Edoardo for long covid symptoms he really took the time to work through my symptoms and has helped me get my symptoms under control.

This was my osteopath experience, and I found Edoardo very reassuring - he thoroughly and gently explained everything he was about to do, and was quick to let me know that if I was ever uncomfortable to let him know. I’d definitely recommend him to others, and actually look forward to returning in 11 weeks when I’m further along in my pregnancy.

Edoardo knew exactly how to help my frozen shoulder and had a clear path of recovery for me

I have seen Edoardo half a dozen times over the last year and found him to be a very personable and knowledgeable therapist. I have appreciated his holistic approach as well as his ability to answer any questions I may have. His wide repertoire and skill set in our sessions, as well as his post-session exercise plans for injury prevention have had a major impact on my physical well-being since I began to see him. Thank you Edoardo!

My sessions with Edoardo have been super helpful with discomfort in my knee and general soreness after running. Super professional, friendly, and great at explaining what he’s working on, with tips and suggestions for what to do at home as well.

I highly recommend Edoardo. Very knowledgeable, gentle and professional. Clearly knows exactly what he’s doing and how to treat you.

Edoardo has been a great help in my rehabilitation. He was kind and genuine with my rehab and explained to me simply and succinctly what was happening both cause and repair and made me feel at ease every time I had an appointment with him.

Edoardo is a very knowledgeable practitioner. I feel in very safe hands with him. I came to see him after a back injury. He immediately observed how the injury had impacted my body and made some brilliant adjustments. Feeling so much better after seeing him.
